i made another video like 2 years ago but never released it because it was lacking in content and purpose. i'll leave it here for safe keeping and archival purposes. to no ones surprise, character.ai is still dogshit. apparently there has been a couple lawsuits against them in relation to vulnerable young people becoming emotionally attached to their bots and then doing bad things to themselves and or others. if only they knew about sillytavern. jokes aside, the chatbot is not to blame. pointing the finger at the underlying LLM is an easy scapegoat, usually because of shitty parenting and uh... socioeconomic factors.
